Brian B must've got lucky. Mine's stamped 5.56 NATO. But, yes, 5.56 and .223 work flawlessly in this rifle according to my experience.

It does not... I put a sig scope on my daughter's and pop up sites on the right side at an angle. If something happens to the scope then she can revert to open sites. My son and have have similar set ups. Good luck, this is a really good buy for the money... Go America!

There are many scopes at all price ranges available, red dots, as well. It's totally dependent on your personal likes and budget. Check out the Romeo red dots by sig-sauer, red dots by Tru-Glo for a more budget friendly option. Look at the Monstrum 2x-8x scope. Good luck, my 2A friend!

Solid rifle. Suprisingly wasnt overgassed for being a milspec ar15. Perfect 4 oclock ejection pattern. Only complaints are that the A2 Flash Hider and the b5 stock/Buffer tube was off centered. Also keep in mind the castle nut isnt stakeD which is fine you can always do it yourself. But yeah ran perfect pretty much right out of the box, both green tips and blue tips ran perfect. Havent really tried .223 but im sure they would run fine as well. Just remember to make sure all screws are tight on the handguard and everything.
I had my gun Smith (35 years experience) disassemble this entire AR To check tolerances. He said all tolerances are extremely tight and of the highest forged quality. you cannot buy another AR new of this high quality for the price.

Purchased this gun as a beginner level AR15 and i have been very expressed by it. Its Light weight with little recoil. I have only put about 90 rounds through it but no misfires so far.
Once I got this all set up and was still under my budget I was happy! It came with a Bravo 5 grip and stock which is sweet! The 15inch Mlok handguard is what i would have put on. All i had to add was some flipup front and rear plus a little reddot and I'M all set. Not bad for what i got her for.. Great lil shooter made in Texas!
I bought a Ca legal one from another store. After installing a maglock lock/magazine system, it ran great! 1 1/2 to 1 1/4 " at 100 yrds from a bench. no FTF or FTE and not much muzzle rise. I highly recommend this rifle. however, I don't recommend living in COMIFORNIA, I am moving when I can.
Solid rifle for the moNey. I added a few accessories. So far i’ve run 1000 rounds through it with no problems. It’s a little on the heavy side but i like it.
Went to the range to zero iron sights and a Sig red dot. Right on the money. Trigger pull was almost up to par with my Colt. I’m happy with this rifle.
I have had mine for almost a year. Customized it with magpul forgrip sling, extra mags and a halo sight. Accuracy is great. no jams and no miss fires. Toral price under $1000. Shoots as well as ar rifles i have shoot at twice the price.
