Does it take standard 30 round 5.56 Mags ?
Yes, and in fact, I rather use the 30 Rd Magpul Pmags. Lighter and better for maneuverability.
Yes it does. I bought extra from 3 different places. All work well.

The ATI Alpha Maxx Pistol is chambered in 5.56mm NATO with compatibility across .223 Remington and 5.56 NATO ammunition, built on a mil-spec style polymer receiver with metal reinforcements and standard AR-15 controls for intuitive operation by experienced users. The 7.5-inch barrel features a 1:8 twist rate and 5/8x24 threading for suppressor and muzzle device compatibility, delivering compact maneuverability while maintaining effective terminal performance at close-quarters distances. At 6.95 lbs across a 22-inch overall length, the Alpha Maxx Pistol balances a portable AR pistol form factor with the weight required for a stable 60-round magazine platform.
The 7-inch free-floating M-LOK handguard provides mounting real estate for lights, grips, and accessories while keeping overall weight to a minimum on the compact pistol configuration. Flip-up adjustable sights ship installed for immediate use without requiring an optic, with the flat top receiver providing a standard mounting surface for additional optics if desired. The included stabilizing brace enhances control during rapid fire and improves handling across extended shooting sessions.
ATI designed the Alpha Maxx Pistol around the extended capacity advantage of the included 60-round magazine, reducing reload frequency during tactical training and range sessions while maintaining the compact footprint of a 7.5-inch barreled AR pistol. The polymer receiver with metal reinforcements keeps the platform lightweight relative to all-aluminum AR pistol builds without sacrificing the structural integrity required for sustained semi-auto use. Standard AR-15 control layout makes the Alpha Maxx Pistol immediately familiar to shooters with existing AR platform experience.

Good eye, my 2A friend! I'd venture to say it has no sights. Take a chance, Columbus did!

Rated 4.8 out of 5 stars based on 5 reviews.
This is a great buy for a person looking for a AR pistol on a budget. I have put 350 to 400 rounds through mine, and it has loaded, chambered, and cycled smoothly. I have to recommend changing that blade and buffer tube. I swapped mine with an SB Tactical SBA5 brace and a TacFire PCC buffer tube. The blade loosens after firing about 60 to 100 rounds over and over. Thats why I gave it 4 stars and not 5. I put a Warhammer charging handle in it to upgrade the mil-spec one it comes with. Definitely worth it if you want a low cost yet reliable AR pistol.
Service was easy and great .
The perfect rifle just what I wanted
