Great Handgun at an Unbeatable Price... Thanks GAG!!!
Ordered this handgun to replace a S&W SD9VE that just was not reliable enough for my primary home defense handgun... too many FTFs and FTEs with various rounds, not to mention the long/heavy trigger pull.

So far I am pleasantly surprised at how well it handles. Out of the box, everything felt tight, not slacky. The gun did ship heavily oiled, but a quick wipe down and all was good. The profile of this gun makes it great for a conceal with no major protrusions or rough edges. Some have complained about the grip being too rough, but seems fine to me. Would rather that over being too slick anyway. Came with both 12 round magazines as stated as well as the TaurusSecurity system (haven't really played with it yet).

I just put ~150rds of Wallymart Winchester Target rounds through and it gobbled them up. Despite having larger hands, this gun is very comfortable in my hand. It has a nice, slim handle but still feels hefty (but not heavy). Trigger pull is longer which is fine by me, and has a noticeable, smooth break point. My groupings were tight at and on target at 5, 10, and 15 yards, so I don't feel the need to adjust the sights (though may at some point). At under $250, this seems like a huge win.

As far a GrabAGun goes... I ordered on a Tuesday afternoon, picked up on Wednesday morning. The process was quick and super-easy.

Just a lot of fun to shoot and feels so good in my hand. Fairly accurate out of the box and it ate everything I threw at it ammo wise. Put about 200 rds through it with no complaints. Would buy again.

The gun shoots good , feels good and is affordable . But , Taurus offers a lifetime warranty , still waiting that lifetime for my front sights that fell off. It was a year and finally had a gun smith make sights from glock sights .

Great gun, great price and is reliable
Ordered Tuesday, arrived at FFL on Thursday, Picked the gun up on Friday. Great service from Grab A Gun! Gun came packed in oil, took it home and cleaned it up and went to the range and shoot 50 rounds of Blazer Brass without a hitch. Gun feels great in your hands, recoil is very manageable. It feels better than my Glock 43 carry gun. For the price you can't go wrong and it appears Taurus has made a quality gun with this model.

This is the best concealed carry and most reliable handgun on a tight budget
I've owned this gun for about 2 years now I shot about 1500 rounds through it I love this gun it's super reliable fires every time never had a problem with it and eats every kind of ammo I throw in it and it's very easy to conceal it also has a high capacity 12+1 which is hard to find for a compact gun under 400 bucks don't let the price fool you or the brand I trust my life and my family's life on this gun that's how reliable it is even if you're not trying to conceal carry and just want a cheap super reliable handgun for home defense look no further you won't regret buying this gun

Great conceal and carry weapon.
Great gun for the price. Received this gun in 4 days from my local FFL. I've taken over 200 shots and qualified for my CWL with this gun. Super accurate once it's sighted in which took all of 15 minutes.

Great pistol. Just ordered my second one. The folks at USCCA agree. They just did a raving review. I own 4 Berettas, 2 Smith and Wessons, an IWI Jericho, and this thing is my favorite to carry. Comfortable on my hand, fits well on my hip, shoots well. Everything I need. Huge fan.

Good Gun Great Value
I need to start by saying that the description says that this is the PRO model. When it arrived at my FFL location it was the Millennium G2. I spent 1 hour on the phone between GAG and Taurus to find the difference between the 2 models .I finally decided to accept transfer and take a chance. Great decision took it straight to the range and it performed great. I had no issues at all. I put 300 rounds thru it using several types of ammo. Really good gun.I would say it performed as well if not better than my Glock 43

Perfect conceal carry and personal defense
Just traded my SW9VE for this PT111 Millenium Pro G2 (that's a mouthful).
Out of the box its oily. Wipe it down real good. It's not the prettiest but I like it. The construction rivals those in the 500$ plus range. It's solid and well built.
Upon loading the magazines I noticed the springs are over stiff. I couldn't even get five rounds in it. I can take the base off and oil it I guess but what a pain in the ass.
I tear it down (the gun) and made sure all that oil is in the right spots and it is.
The box (no case) it came with has an Allen key wrench to adjust the rear sights which is good but I'm putting a micro reflex on mine so doesn't matter much. It also comes standard with a weaver rail for a laser dot or taclight.
Firing the gun was comfortable with very controlled kick. It's quite good. The gun shoots straight right out of the box. Good feel holding it and shooting it.
Taurus has stepped up to the plate and really hit this one out of the park.
Perfect conceal carry firearm.
Only quirk for some would be a lot of travel on the trigger befor the break. But, the reset is crisp and short to make up for it.

Love this gun
I had bought the 40 cal Smith and Wesson M&P Shield and the Taurus PT 111. Out at the range, the S&W was outperformed hands down, that is factoring in the difference in caliber. The S&W was jamming about every 3 rounds, this Taurus now over 2000 rounds down range not 1 jam. I now own 2 of these and plan on getting probably at least one more if not more. 1 conceal, 1 range, 1 home defense and the last 1 just to be able to change out from time to time.

This was my first handgun purchase since my Glock in1999. I liked it immediately, it feels good in my hand, and out of the box was hitting a 6" spread. 500 rounds, ZERO issues. AND you cannot beat the price. I will get another.

Fantastic. but. I like the .40 better. Female carry this I better. Out of the box, flawless. Stipling is a bit much. I sanded down a little.

Both 9 and 40 are same size and hold many rounds. Very small and perfect for carry.

Best value, moderate quality.
For the price the PT-111 G2 is unbeatable. You get more than you pay for.
Taurus is not a top tier maker. Very difficult to get parts including magazines. Mine has acceptable close range accuracy but can not compete with my Glocks or Colts.

Let the gun snobs say what they want. I have a Glock. It's a good gun. But so is this PT Gen 2 line. And I got 2 for the price of my Glock. So no problems. Not a FTF or stove pipe or any malfunction so far.ckean it often Gary it daily.
Best hidden Bargain for a small CC. I got the PT140. Really like it. But I am going to get the 9 mm version. Not a lot of recoil difference. But I like the 9 mm. I will keep the .40 cal for home defence and the truck gun. Can not go wrong with either.

I ordered on line Friday the 6/17/16 and picked it up at my FFL on Monday morning 6/20/16.
Sights at factory were not set at all. This is still a very nice weapon with very little recoil for a nine shooting remans. Size, weight and balance are perfect for my hand. 2 mags and two site and security tools were included. I got the sale price at $205. What a deal.

Nice gun, but not without reliability issues
I purchased this gun, as my back-up CCW, on this very website - GrabAGun, and was very happy with the service - it was so fast! First impression - the gun is well crafted, feels solid and well balanced, good-looking. Then I've taken it to the range and subjected to usual set of tests. I fired a total of approximately 1000 bullets during a few days, throwing at it every kind of 9 mm Luger ammo I could find - from crappy Russian-made Tulammo to the best brands, like Hornady. The gun functioned impeccably with, for instance, American Eagle, of course, Hornady, and several others (a bit of long trigger pull, but relatively good, clean break and short reset) .The gun proved to be reasonably accurate on defense distances. The big problem started with Blazer Brass and American Steel brands, both 115 and 124 gr. The gun malfunctioned on EVERY OTHER ROUND (failure to feed, double-feeding, not getting in battery), rendering it practically useless. I've tried defence ammo ( Sig Sauer Elite Performance, Hornady 147 gr), with pretty much the same discouraging results. Needless to say, I was very much disappointed with such performance, and what was the worst part of it - it was stubbornly consistent with malfunctioning on certain brands of ammo while performing quite well with the others. Gunsmiths found NO reasons whatsoever for such selectivity in performance with different ammo. To my dismay, the gun just continued with same issues, even after their very careful examination. Bottom line: I found it impossible to entrust my family and my own life to the gun with such substantial reliability issue.

Great pistol for the money
Over the years I have had GOOD Taurus pistols and I have had really BAD Taurus pistols. I had read so many good reviews on this pistol and liked the way it looked I traded another gun for it.new After a good cleaning I took off for the range. I put 100 rounds of various cartridges thru it and had ZERO failures. I now Carry the PT111G2 as one of three primary carry guns in my inventory. The trigger takes some getting used to but this was not a problem. For the money It can't be beat.

Almost perfect
Great gun. Light, accurate, dependable. The only drawbacks so far are
1. Can't find a decent Kydex paddle holster to fit. I'm using one of the universal soft sided ones, but I don't really like it, and
2. It's really hard to get 12 rounds into the magazines. 11 fits just fine, but 12 are hard to get in and that top one sometimes jams.

Great CCW piece
I had been looking for a new CCW for awhile. After narrowing it down between a 9mm or .22, I opted for the more powerful round. This Taurus is a great little gun. Small, high capacity, and reliable. Especially when you can pick one up for under $300 and get an extra magazine. Grabagun was great, very knowledgeable and made the transaction smooth.

If you like good firearms at a value - buy this. Even the tactical elites will have to like this one.
The fit and finish is comparable to firearms over twice the cos;I love it. The biggest surprise? The trigger! I had always heard the trigger was harsh in DA mode. NOPE! It has a smooth full pull in DA mode with a predictable snap at the end and a nicer crisp, short reset than my M&P Shield, Probably the best value in my 9MM group. Did I mention it shoots like a 4.5 inch barrel? Very happy guy right now!!

I have 6 pistol's that I can use for a concealed weapon. But I keep going back to my Taurus 9 mm PT 111 pro Millennium. It's awesome! I bought this gun when it first came out. I am very ruff on a gun. But you can't tell it by looking at it. I paid less for this pistol, than any one of my high $$ ones. I love this gun. Buy you one, you will be glad you did. It is also a good 1st pistol for learning on. Light weight, but durable.

Very nice compact Tarus.
Tarus finally got it Right. I bought the P140 from here in .40 Cal. Fast shipping. And this is now one of my favorite guns. There is a longer DA trigger pull. But it does break clean. And SA follow up shots are great. Stays on target minimum Barrel flip. This is one of the better ergonomic designs I have seen in a while. It has a very easy to use safety and can be clicked off as it is drawn from my holster. I have only put around 30 rounds through it. Both FMJs and Hollow points. No jambs to failure to ejects. And at 20ft it is very easy to get a decent grouping. I bought mine when they were $199. And at the price it was a GREAT BUY. Now they are $300. And still a good buy. Just not the GREAT DEAL I got at the $200 range. This is going to be my new CCW. After some more time on the range.

Tarus finally got it Right. I bought the P140 from here in .40 Cal. Fast shipping. And this is now one of my favorite guns. There is a longer DA trigger pull. But it does break clean. Extremely Great Gun! A Must Have!
Excellent gun. Very impressed. I would have purchased thru Grab A Gun, but it was out of stock & I managed to find one
locally. I 've always had reservations of Taurus semi-autos, but no more. I had to find out myself what all the reviews were saying. The PT111 G2 is great looking & has a very long list of features and is a Best Buy & also a Must Have! Shot 150rds brand new right out of the box perfectly! Taurus did a great job on the PT111 G2! I'm so extremely happy with this gun I had to post a review even though I didn't purchase thru Grab A Gun.

Great Gun at Great Price
Grabagun = Great price and fast shipping.

Taurus PT111 G2 = Great ergonomics (for me) and excellent design. At first I thought the trigger was atrocious, but it's grown on me and seems to get better - and besides this is a defensive weapon, not a match gun.

For the money you can't go wrong with the PT111 G2.

Great choice for protection and CC
I purchased two of the PT111-G2 handguns from GAG. They shipped within two business days and I had them in my hands on the third day. They had the best prices at the time, and charged only $5.99 per gun for shipping.

The quality of these guns is great. My son and I took them out that weekend to check for reliability and accuracy. At 25 yards, they shot consistently in the same area. We ran 300 rounds through both pistols (about 150 rounds each), and did not experience any fail-to-fires, ejection issues, or fail-to-battery issues. These pistols are small enough for CC, which was my main reason for purchasing them. For various reasons, I didn't want to drop down to a .380, and also didn't want to go up to a .40 cal. This was the sweet spot in the middle, and I although I wasn't originally looking at a Taurus, these G2s have had awesome reviews and are a hot item right now.

Our next trip out with them will be to adjust the sites for better accuracy, as I only carried the included screw driver kit with us, and was unable to get it to turn the screws. I would advise a quality flat-head screwdriver to anyone else planning on sighting yours.

Finally, the magazine are very stiff. You can load them by hand, but your thumbs will ache. I purchased a couple of the Maglula UpLULA universal magazine loaders, and they are well worth the money paid. They will save your thumbs and make the mag reloading process many times faster than without them.

Unless you just happen to get a random lemon, you can't go wrong with this handgun. Taurus also has a lifetime warranty on their handguns. I've heard both positive and negative comments on using the warranty, but it does at least offer some peace of mind to me.

Great little Taurus
I caught the Millinium pro G2 for $260 + 5.99 shipping, had heard of some good experiences since Taurus upgraded this model and had to find out for myself. I've put about 400 rounds down range without an issue, trigger take up is long but breaks clean and resets with letting out the trigger just a qtr inch and follow ups are easy to point of aim. Recoil even with the 147gr is mild and super controllable with almost no muzzle rise or flip of any kind. It's 250 well spent because I can trust this gun to put it in my concealed carry rotation ( use 4 different weapons) and feel its reliable enough to save my butt. Try it out!

Caught this on sale for $199, ordered online Monday afternoon, arrived at my FFL the next day, no other dealer ever came close to that! Gus looks and feels great, cycled 200 rounds without a single problem and accuracy at POA was excellent. Cannot say enough good things about Grab A Gun and this firearm.

The Go-To Budget Pistol
For new shooters or people that only want (or can afford) to have a few guns, this is a highly desirable firearm. It can serve many roles and do them all well. Nightstand, concealed carry, range/plinking pistol, camping/hiking open carry piece, glovebox gun. For seasoned shooters this gun is still fantastic - the trigger is great, the lock is a nice feature, the manual safety is not obtrusive (so you can use it or just forget about it), the second strike is great for CCW, the accuracy is serviceable (or better), the capacity is excellent, and the size is just about the same as the Shield. I've shot a number of examples of this same model strictly with cast lead reloads and have not seen a malfunction of any kind yet.

This is a great gun for $300, at the price it sells for, you pretty much have to buy one.

An exceptional pistol and an exceptional value
I have used a Taurus PT111 G2 as my main carry piece for about a year. When I saw one offered at a special price, I could not resist! It's an exceptional pistol and when you consider the price, the value is incredible. I have purchased several pistols from GrabAGun and the service, value and quality, plus very fast shipping, cannot be beat.

My first gun from purchase from Grabagun and it couldn't of went any smoother. Ordered it on 5/6/15 at lunch. Got it the next day at my local gun dealer. You can't get any better or faster service than that! Took me all of 7 minutes to pick it up from my local dealer. Love the gun. The fit and finish are outstanding. Can't wait to go to the range. Will definitely do business with Grabagun again.

Off the Radar Gotta Have
I wanted something with a bigger caliber than 380, but not much bigger for CC. This one fit the bill, and it was cheap. I bought one and tried it out. Wow, it is great. I loved it so much, I bought another one. Now they have it on sale again, and I have put one in the cart. The value on these are a 10, and the quality is good enough to trust my life with. Enough said.

Great gun terrific price
Was looking for a 9mm CCW. I wasn't sure about the Taurus, but the other customer reviews were good and the price was super. I decided to give it a try. Could not be happier with the fit and finish, Taurus has made greate strides in product quality. The gun feels great in the hand and dry fire with snap caps proved to have a great trigger. Fit and Finish very good, balance loaded is good. I’ve only put a few hundred rounds thru it but it took everything well. The trigger is a little scratchy but for the price is better than most. All around a very good CC weapon.

Taurus has hit a HOME RUN with this one !!!
Purchased this for under $300 !!! I have close to 1000 problem free rounds through mine over the last few months and without any cleaning or lubrication and it is running fine. I will clean it once I get over 1000 rounds I will break it down and give it a good cleaning. For anyone looking for a quality, inexpensive, reliable, good looking firearm, I would recommend this. Cant beat it !
I compared the PT 111 against
Ruger lc9 , S&W shield, berreta nano, and the baby glock. it has 1/2 the recoil of the LC9 allows you back on the target with very little effort has many more options than the shield holds almost as much as double the round s in the magazine, much nicer trigger than the shield. shoots as good and accurate as the nano and the Glock26 for half the price. I always thought you get what you pay for, well in this case you get a lot more than what you pay for. take all the things you like about the Ruger,Shield Nano& Glock 26 put them all together and cut the price in half and you have the Taurus PT 111 gen 2. what ever you wear wear it with pride and stand up up for our 2nd amendment rights! we stand on the front line to defend against Dictatorship and anarchy

Great Great Gun
First off. Great transaction and shipping time with Grab a gun.
Second. This gun is great. I have big hands and the grip is good. Love the feel of the grippy little panels on the gun. Helps with pulling it out of holster and just feels secure. Love the 12+1 capacity and the spare mag. Adjustable sights are nice too. Mine was spot on out of box but nice to know I can adjust them if needed. Look and feel of the gun is the best out of all that I tried out. Tried a S&W Shield, Keltec, Walther, and Beretta PX4 and this Taurus G2 was by far the best. It is light, thin and has way more features for a lot lot less than all of the others.
The second strike is a nice thing to have but the trigger pull is just awesome. The first pull is long just like all double action, but the reset is very short making it very easy to get off follow up shots.
A must buy for anyone looking at a CCW. Also comes in a .40sw but I found it was a bit much recoil for a small gun. Anyhow I would and have recommended this to a lot of people.

Fine Firearm
Great value. Great Firearm. The trigger is sweet. I love having 12+1 in an easily concealed package. This thing is like what the shield should have been. double stack 9.
Grabagun had a great price and inexpensive shipping. I wish they did not use the USPS however. The post office stinks!
The trigger is long and no resistance til the break on the first shot. You will have to get used to that. The break is smooth however and you will love that. Love the six stipple panels. The grip is surprisingly small considering it is a double stack magazine. Prob those with regular size hands and ladies will appreciate that. I have large hands so I have to get used to that compared to my other guns. But I have many different handguns and they all have their own feel so it is not a negative just an observation. The rail is nice too. Love everything about this weapon.

I've put a couple hundred rounds through my PT111 G2 so far and it's been flawless. I don't have large hands and this gun fits perfectly in my hand, it has a great feel. The adjustable site it great. Also, the gun strips down very easily for cleaning. I've seen some people complain about the trigger. I actually like the fact that the long trigger pull acts as another safety. This gun looks and shoots great, I really like it. And thank you Grabagun for an easy transaction at a great price.

Great little carry gun
I've put about 400 rounds through mine without a single hiccup. I've shot Critical Duty, Federal, Blazer Brass and WWB.

My only complaint is the sights. They're painted dots and the rear sight is cheap plastic. If not for the sights, I would have given it a 5 stars on quality. Still, a very nice little carry gun for the money!
