I bought a Ruger LCP a while back and liked it so much, I wanted to get a "back-up" for it in case it breaks down or is stolen. It's a great little gun...very reliable/dependable!

Reviews and price. A buddy has LCPII and I liked the longer trigger pull on the LCP since it doesn't have a safety. Apprehensive about a 380 but with this price I'm going to try one.

Hello Im own a Smith & Wesson SD9VE and after buy it found that no safety in it.Will be a good idea for safety purpose to have one?
Agustin on Aug 7, 2018
BEST ANSWER: Speaking as a 26 year law enforcement officer and NRA certified firearms instructor I can authoritatively say that even people who shoot for competition are divided on this issue.

Personally, I would pay extra to NOT have a safety having known an officer who died repeatedly trying to fire his weapon with the safety on. It's all in how you train and what becomes automatic for your brain and muscle memory. I also keep a round in the chamber but my trigger finger always stays outside the trigger guard until I shoot. It's all about proper training and regular practice.

I have both the S&W Bodyguard as well as the Ruger LCP for concealed carry and wouldn't trade either one of them.
Is this firearm new or used?
Salvstore on Sep 20, 2018
BEST ANSWER: All firearms on our site are new in the box in retail packaging unless stated otherwise. Occasionally we will offer surplus items or a used gun but they will be noted as such in the description. Thanks for shopping with us!
What is the melting point?
Jamie on Jan 5, 2019
BEST ANSWER: That's an odd question. It's a polymer framed handgun like Glock. They are generally very impact resistant. As far as a melting point I've shot 200 rounds within 1 hour which made the slide hot to the touch but did not damage the polymer. It will flex a little. This gun wasn't
designed to shoot mountains of rounds within a short period. If you are worried about it melting then I would ask the the manufacturer for durability specs. This gun will not melt while you are firing it unless you fire an ungodly amount of rounds within a short period.

To cheap not to try.
I bought this when it was super cheap. Just for the price I would give it 3 stars. It is great for the purpose I bought it for. Pocket carry when I am not going to carry anything else. Pretty accurate little gun if you take your time to aim with it. It is not however a fun gun to shoot. I start feeling it dig into my hand after the first 12 rounds, but I didn't buy it for recreational shooting.
