The Freedom Ordnance FX-9 chambered in 9mm NATO is built around a billet aluminum receiver that runs 1" shorter than a standard AR-15 for a more compact overall package, paired with a 4.5" 4150 Chrome Moly steel barrel finished in black nitride for enhanced corrosion resistance and long service life. An enhanced extractor and bolt package with anti-walk pins ensures reliable feeding and extraction across a wide range of 9mm loads, while last-round bolt hold open keeps the shooter informed of round count during rapid fire sequences. An AR-15 style oversized recurve charging handle provides positive manipulation even with gloves or in adverse conditions, and the AR-15 configured safety selector delivers familiar controls for shooters already comfortable with the AR platform. For competitive shooters and home defense users who want a 9mm AR pistol that runs Glock-style magazines and interfaces like a standard AR, the FX-9 delivers that familiar manual of arms in a compact, suppressor-ready package.

The 3.5" Freedom M-LOK free-float handguard keeps the build lightweight and slim while providing M-LOK attachment points for lights, grips, and accessories, and the included custom handstop designed specifically for the FX9P4 provides positive hand placement and a natural shooting interface. A fluted muzzle enhancer is factory-installed, and the 1/2"-28 TPI threaded barrel accepts standard 9mm approved muzzle devices and suppressors without additional adapters. Do you have to have a ,ClassIII or have to buy a federal stamp for this pistol with a stock ?

If the barrel is less than 16 inches then yes you need a stamp to put a stock on.

So far no problems great little ar pistol. Went through 450 rOunds first time i shot it and no jams or anytHinG. Fun fun fun. I did chaNge out the stock not a fan of the paddle stock. A great gun all in all. Would tell anyone to i actually did tell them to buy.

this is a reliable little gun so far. They did alot of things right with this gun. At 20' it shoots one ragged hole. The trigger is heavy, and I am not a huge fan of the blade stock. However it is a solid gun. Also grab a gun's delivery was very good. No complaints.

Nice and tight. Fun little pistol to shoot I do want to get the 8-in however. This thing will house my suppressor with no issues even with the rail is close to the front as it is.
