Questions And Answers

I have a 9mm hi point with a 3.5 barrel and a 8 round clip , is this good ammo for this pistol ?

Asked by Anonymous on Oct 19, 2022

I do not have any Hi point firearms, but this ammo has been fine in my sig 938, which is a small short barrel single stack firearm. I have also shot this ammo in every other handgun that we own that shoots 9mm and have not had any issues other than the occasional stovepipe. I would give it a try, for the price it is very good ammo.

A hi-point will shoot anything!! And i'm not saying that condescendingly, Blazer is good stuff, I shoot it out of a hi-point pistol and the carbine, works great. use it in my taurus and my wifes ruger also and no problems.

Good ammo for 9mm shield smith and wesson?

Asked by Anonymous on May 17, 2021

Yes, the Blazer/CCI is very good stuff, never an issue. The 124 gr is nice as most self defense rounds are the same. Has a little more recoil than the 115's.

Answered by Anonymous on May 18, 2021

Yessir. I use these as training rounds. I carry federal 124 grain hst(standard pressure) and these shoot almost the same.

Answered by Anonymous on May 18, 2021

I used it for target practice - cycled well, but felt it was a bit hot. True, felt it as a bit more recoil.

Yes, i Own a 9mm shield and don’t have a PROBLEM with BLazer ammunition,

Answered by Anonymous on May 18, 2021

Are those fine for 9mm sig sauer p320 compact?

Asked by Anonymous on Apr 24, 2022

yes they are. 124 grain is the military weight bullet. blazer work just as well as any other 9mm, just more economical to shoot.

Answered by Anonymous on May 22, 2022

I would think so. They work grEat in my P365.

Answered by Anonymous on Apr 24, 2022

Yes they work great with it.

The term FMJ is used loosely and interchangeably by manufacturers. Are these actually full metal jacketed as described  or TMJ ( total metal jacketed ) as in a thin coating?

Asked by Anonymous on Jan 5, 2023

ammo is good but after so many rounds at the range its needs a good cleaning.

Answered by Anonymous on Jan 18, 2023

They are brass cased and then coated. So it puts them somewhere between true FMJ and true TMJ. It will make your weapon a little dirtier than true fmj, but accuracy and relabity are great. I have to clean my weapon anyway and love the price. Those are the facts, its your choice.

Answered by Anonymous on Jan 5, 2023

Full metal jacket and total metal jacket refer to the amount of the core that is covered, not the thickness of the jacket. Probably thin, but not thin enough to burn off as it races through the air to hit its target.

Asked by Anonymous on Feb 1, 2023

124 Grain Blazer Brass

Rated 5 out of 5 stars by Anonymous on Nov 11, 2023

This is premium ammo at a great price. No FTF’s or jams. I’ve tried other brands in my Glocks, and Blazer Brass is definitely the most consistent and cleanest. Every order I’ve placed with GrabAGun has been delivered on time and without any issues.

Good but too much carbon deposit

AMMO SHOOTS WELL BUT LEAVES A LOT OF CARBON DEPOSIT, HAVE TO RUN A CLEANING SNAKE WITH OIL PROCEDURE TO CONTINUE WITH THE SHOOTING EXCERCISE.

Solid ammo

Rated 5 out of 5 stars by Big Al on Nov 13, 2025

Solid ammo, and normally I like 124gr, but for Blazer, I like the 115gr and the 147gr options even better!

100% reliable.

My go to training ammo. Blazer brass works well in all my firearms, and is very price competitive. I've not had a problem with any of this ammo - ever (sometimes a firearm malfunction, not ammo issue).

Inconvenient signature requirement for delivery

Rated 4 out of 5 stars by Anonymous on Mar 3, 2023

Ammo is fine, but Grab-a-gun requires a signature for ups delivery, which is a pain if you're not home. Never had to sign for other online ammo suppliers' orders. I'll shop elsewhere next time.

These rounds for my guns are clean and reliable. They feed perfectly, why wouldn't they, and they hit where I'm aiming, not that my aim is perfect but even the misses wind up where I thought I jerked the gun. I will continue to buy the from grab a gun.

Range Ranger

I put a lot of 9mm rounds down range. A lot of those are Blazer. They are always dependable and consistent!
