Nice pistol, but with serious issues
This is a good looking and good handling pistol at a good price, but it has issues. Most obvious is the very long pull and gritty trigger. I really don't like it, especially the grittiness. The second thing, and it may be specific to mine, is that the sights were way, way the heck off. On a 10 meter range With 10 inch targets, I was not even hitting paper and neither was my associate. I bought a LaserMax Micro laser and mounted it. Tried it w/o any adjustments and it was almost spot on. I was putting shots in a 3" ring at 10 meters. That's when I noted that the factory sights were so "way the heck off". When the spot-on laser was on the Bulls-eye the sights were not even on the paper. wide and low. This is really inexcusable that Ruger would ship a pistol with sights so far off. To make matters worse, adjusting the rear sight for wins age is not easy and front sight adjustment is brutal.

Great dealer and price, good gun with a not so good trigger
Great order handling by Grabagun. Love the feel of the SR45 and it seems reliable as long as you slam the magazine home. However, I do not like the trigger. Trigger pull is too long and lacking in feel. You just pull and pull wondering when will it finally go bang. If you like that kind of trigger feel, you will love the SR45. Maybe I will get used to it. Maybe.

Great Gun
I couldn't be more pleased with the service from Grabagun and the 100% satisfaction with my purchase, a Ruger SR45. I received the gun 3 days after the order was placed. I took it out of the box and put 50 rounds through it. It is one of the most comfortable guns I've shot. Fits like a glove in your hands, good sight picture and minimal recoil. I shot 2" groups from 15yds with no difficulty. All of my other guns are Glocks and this one rates right with them. What is most important to me is that the operation is the same in both weapons, especially trigger action. I can pick up either gun in a pressure situation and feel confident that they all operate the same. Additionally the Price of the Ruger is about $200 cheaper than the Glock and it's made in the USA!!!!

Wow!
I had gotten away from the 45acp until I saw the reviews of this gun. I can without a shadow of a doubt that this is a great 45acp. Recoil mgmt is superb, I do not like a weapon that i can't be reasonably close with my double and triple taps quickly and this gun did after minimum break in and only 400 bucks. Thanks Ruger!! True American Value
My SR45 arrived within a few days of purchase. The transaction was flawless. You can not go wrong with this handgun if you want .45ACP American made quality! Sure, everyone wants a 1911. I am glad that I chose the SR45 instead. It shoots all day without issues. It is accurate right out of the box!

SR45
I have owned Glock, S&W, FN, Springfield, Taurus and H&K 45s. I think the SR is by far the best bang for your buck striker fired 45 out there. It is as reliable as any of them and cost less than all. The trigger is smoother and breaks more crisply than any of the above. If you don't like safeties then don't use it because it has the same type trigger safety as Glock introduced long ago. The felt recoil is lower than all the above. It comes with all the options and goodies as any of the others. The width and grip angle are similar to the others and I personally shoot it better than all the above. Go handle many different models and if it feels good to you be confidant that your getting a gun that will last a lifetime. I have fired 500 rounds through mine with zero problems and after taking down I can't find any internal signs of unusual wear areas. Good luck and shoot safe!

Worth every penny!
Love love love this gun! It shoots very smooth, not near as much recoil as I expected. My only complaint is I'm not nuts about the looks of the trigger...but that's a personal preference! Buy it!
