Description

Details

The Ruger 22/45 Target has a polymer frame with a serrated frontstrap and
checkered backstrap with a blued steel bull barrel and receiver. The
contoured ejection port and easy-to-grasp bolt ears allow for durable and
reliable operation round after round. The internal cylindrical bolt
construction ensures permanent sight-to-barrel alignment and higher
accuracy potential than conventional moving slide designs. This rimfire
pistol features a loaded chamber indicator, manual safety, and a magazine
disconnect with a push button mag release on the left side of the frame. It
has a fixed front sight, adjustable rear sight, and a magazine capacity of
10.

Great for plinking
I bought mine 6 months ago from GAG and picked it up from their local store the next day. I've put several hundreds rounds through mine and only had a few jams/bent casings during the first 50 rounds. As expected with the Ruger Mark, it will eat any ammo. For those unfamiliar with the Mark line the take down is a bit different but not hard. Plenty of videos online showing how to disassemble. Great price and this is my third gun from GAG in the past year.

Well done Ruger Mark III
Great gun at a great price($259). Cycles anything and is quit accurate. Doesn't operate as slick as the old mark II and mark I but I'm sure the safety and slide release will work easier with more use. Warning, this model doesn't have exchangeable grips. Feel safe trusting Ruger and Grabagun.

I Love this Pistol
I finally got around to going to shoot a while today. I took this Ruger 22/45 Mark III and my Colt Government Model in 22 LR to the Texas City Municipal gunrange. The Colt shoot great, no doubt about it. But this Ruger 22/45 put it to shame.
I fired 2 mags to get a feel for the trigger, then settled down and did the real shooting. It only needed 2 clicks of left windage to bring it to zero/zero and then it was just pile 'em in the same hole almost. Great fun and didn't break the bank to shoot 400 rounds through both pistols. Buy one. You won't regret it.

Ruger MKIII 22-45 22 LR
I have been looking for a good deal on this Ruger for a while. Grab-A-Gun had one cheaper than I have seen elsewhere plus they are only $5.99 flat fee shipping. Not only that, but they had my favorite FFL on their list and it was only a click away to set this up. No faxing or calling around to make the arrangement. Then to top it off, the $5.99 was 2 day shipping. This is my 2nd purchase from them and not my last. The Ruger MKIII 22-45 22 LR is very well made and similar to one I had in the 70's. I guess when you have something that works this well, you don't have to change it!

Ruger MK III 22-45
Right out of the box comes quality that you'd expect from Ruger. This gun is well balanced and is good looking and fun to shoot. The only drawback that was noticeable right away is the magazine is hard to get out of the mag well. So, if your in competition shooting or simply in a jam and need to change the magazine out in a hurry, that's not going to happen with this gun. Other than that, It's a great plinker for the money.

Had One A Long Time Ago
Back in the 70's, I bought a Ruger Mark III pistol and ejoyed shooting it every time I took it out. It was deadly accurate and so much fun to shoot. At that time, ammo was so cheap, we could shoot a 1000 rounds and still have money left for beer!! That old Ruger got burned up in a house fire in 1985. If this pistol is half the fun that one was, it will be a joy to have again. I'll update this after I can shoot the pistol.

Great accurate gun. Good price.
I did quite a bit of research when I was looking for a .22 pistol. I looked at the browning buckmark, the s&w .22a, and this pistol. All the info that I gathered pointed me towards this ruger as far as accuracy and familiar functions of the 1911 .45. Right out of the box I was shooting thru the same holes at 25 yrs. Rear sight is easily adjusted with a small flat tip. A few clicks and it was dead center on the target. The only downside to this pistol is the ridiculous field strip disassembly and reassembly. Frustrating and aggravating to say the least. Would be much easier without the magazine disconnect. With time it does get easier but is a chore that I do not enjoy. That being said I would still choose this gun over the others on the accuracy alone. Ruger has done a great job with this gun but still needs a little work to make disassembly and assembly a little easier.

Excellent
Great looking pistol. 22lr ammo can be a little hard to find these days & when you do find some, there usually isn't any variety. No matter with this pistol, it ate everything from fancy pistol match ammo to the cheapest stuff I had on hand. Can't beat the price @ grabagun.

Nice pistol
This is my second Ruger 22 heavy barrel target pistol. I wanted one with the 45 configuration to practice with the feel of my 1911's - fits the bill and of course it's a Ruger so it is well made.

Great gun for the price
I just love this gun, an excellent value. The sights, although adjustable for W/E need to be upgraded. I've purchased some Williams fiber optics for it and we'll see how they shoot. The fit and finish is top rate, but I wish my model had replaceable grip panels.

Excellent firearm
It has the feel of my 1911 and is cheaper to shoot. Accuracy is excellent. If you have form issues, this gun will show it. If they were in stock, I'd buy another.
