Reviews + I have to believe that Colt would not license their name for a gun manufactured by Walther, and run the risk of ruining their reputation

Shoots 6 inchs low at 7 yards
The trigger has a nice wall but the break is over 5.5 lb.Accuracy is not to bad. I like the ppq 22 better.

great weapon! It has one problem that I have found, I have been searching for an extra magazine for a while now without success, Walther does not know when they will manufacture more magazines. Other than that the gun is prefect.

Great bang for buck!!!
Beautiful firearm for the price shoots exceptionally well out the box the finish is fantastic, the same feel as a standard 1911 and a threaded barrel on top of it!!!

Most reliable 1911 22lr
If you are going to buy a 1911 22lr, make sure you buy a colt. It has the best quality and more importantly, it is the most reliable when shooting cheap ammo (or probably any ammo). A friend of mine bought the Chiappa. It shoots very accurately but arguably has the worst problem feeding cheap ammo. I bought the GSG after reading very positive reviews about it from users who said all they needed to do was clean up the paint on the inside. Well I did that (and oiled it quite a bit) and I consider the GSG the only lemon gun I ever purchased. The magazine on it IMO is a joke. It wants to feed the bullets totally horizontally a lot of the time especially when you put more than 7 rounds in it.Now for this gun. All I did was clean it a little and oil it a little. After about 400 hundred rounds, I had two bullets not fire, no misfeeds, and no jams. I looked at the two bullets that didn't fire and there were dents in them which means they must have been bad bullets. I currently own the Ruger hunter Mark III and I would say this colt is every bit as reliable (maybe more reliable) and shoots slightly more accurately. This colt is definitely more fun to shoot than my Ruger hunter because it's easier for me to shoot accurately and it's a 1911. The Ruger hunter required me to adjust the sights a ton which is pretty annoying.I would recommend spending the extra money (about $50) to get the gold cup instead of this model so you get the fully adjustable sights. This gun seems to shoot a little low. I didn't bother with the gold cup because since the Chiappa and GSG both shoot right on target I figured this one would too.

Great Gun
I bought this a year ago and it eats any bulk ammo you can throw at it. 700 rounds without a malfunction. The only downside for me was I paid $401.00 for it from GAG!!Would buy again!! Better than my Browning Buckmark
