I’ve put a few hundred rounds through my Springfield Echelon 4.5F and it’s quickly become one of my favorite pistols. The grip ergonomics are excellent right out of the box. It just fits my hand perfectly with the bigger backstrap and the texture is aggressive enough for solid control without being uncomfortable. Accuracy is outstanding for a duty-style pistol, and the flat-faced trigger is crisp with a very predictable break. The optics-ready slide and easy co-witness setup made mounting my red dot a breeze. Recoil is soft and manageable, even during rapid strings, and the gun runs 100% reliable so far. It’s a solid, modern striker-fired pistol that feels premium without the premium price tag. Highly recommended for both range use and home defense. Springfield knocked it out of the park with the Echelon 4.5F.
