This is a great gun. Flawless performance after 3k round. Fair price clearly quality build. Due to my mistake I inadvertently disassembled the COG, Springfield addresses this issue promptly & fairly. What's not to like? Also it is very attractive looking, in my opinion!
The gun is what I expected. It shoots great, the optic sight is good for training and range. Not sure of the durability of the manufacturer. My only issue with this weapons is that it has anything to do with Springfield Armory. By far of all the weapons I own of multiple brands, they have the weakest support system for their weapons. I would rather just cut out Springfield Armory and deal directly with HS products in Croatia. Something as simple as a magazine sleeve is out of stock and unavailable anywhere. Why will this never replace the Glock as the go to weapon system? Support. Accessories. It’s like Springfield armory is run by a group of college graduates with degrees in art and music. This will be the last Springfield Armory purchase I ever make. I’ve stuck with them from 1911’s, all XD’s, the hellcat, and now this echelon in hopes it would get better. It won’t. The gun is nice don’t get me wrong. But if I had it to do again, I would have bought the new Gen 6 GLOCK.
