The Mossberg 590 Shockwave includes all the features that have made Mossberg pump-actions the choice for millions worldwide: ambidextrous safety, dual extractors, positive steel-to-steel lockup, twin action bars, and a smooth operating anti-jam elevator. It has a convenient clean-out tube magazine cap, a front bead sight, and 'corn cob' strapped forend to keep shooter's lead hand clear of the muzzle. Is this 590 made of stainless steel or SS colored Cerakote? Thanks!

Not made of stainless steel. Just coated with cerakote. Would have preferred regular Mossberg marinekote or real stainless steel but they don’t make that (yet). Still, it’s very nice.

I believe it to be SS colored Cerakote. Seems to be a very durable finish.

The case does come included. Mine was busted in shipping and readily replaced by mossberg. I added a Modified stock (legal) and so has to be disassembled to use. The case inclusion was nice but nothing i intended to use as inTended anyway. Conclusion: great firearm for sure. Shoots high for me and needs a sight to adjust (not uncommon and ive received 28 yrs of training always shooting highest in scoring).

Mine did. As advertised. I have droughts the tube is 100% water proof. The gun is great , and nothing against it. But I wouldn't bury my gun in it. Use your judgement

I really like the stainless cerakote. The firearm works for its intended purpose of varmit eradication. I would definitely purchase again. A big plus is there are so many upgrades available.

I have worked on a number of Shockwaves and I decided to buy this particular model for myself. I am well pleased with the finish on the barrel and receiver and the action is as smooth as any I've seen on a Mossberg 590. I have about 250 rounds of 00 buckshot through it now without a bobble.

excellent, versatile firearm by mossberg, and speedy, professional service by grab-a-gun! Purchased it online saturday, it shipped monday, and it arrived at my ffl wednesday for transfer/pickup. the cerakote stainless steel finish is well-done and enhances the looks of this weapon. i got this weapon primarily for home defense (shot-for-shot nothing beats a 12 gauge), and because it's versatile and will take 3 in. shells, 2 3/4 in. shells, and minishells (with a $15 mini-clip by opsol), and because it's just fun to shoot. this is a must-have firearm.

Excellent Service and Fullfilment by Grab A Gun. This tool 8s an absolute beast and easy fun too shoot, but is the best home defense weapon you can have. No equivalent from 7 yards and in. Also is the best tool for CQB. I highly recommend this firearm.

When I saw this I was intrigued! I ponied up and did the stainless cerakote and orange direct burial container. What a quality piece. I replaced the hand strap with a leather equivalent and bought the 1.75 Aquila shells and adaptor. Never fired, but in place as a defensive truck weapon. Highly recommended.

I did not get a chance to physically see this exact model before purchasing it. The weight, color and finish have impressed me after receiving it. Have not yet shot it but plan to use 1 3/4" shells with adapter and 00. The local gun store where it shipped has never seen one either but said it was a great deal on a quality gun at this price.

This was my second shockwave they have a special place in my heart, truck and home. Great for small places RVs, small tight living quarters and good back up for camping.
