The KRISS Vector MK5 Modular Rail is the OEM handguard for the Vector SDP Enhanced Pistol and SBR models featuring 6.5" barrels, and is made from hard anodized aluminum alloy. The rail is 5" long and features a full length bottom rail and 5 slot rail segments at the 3 and 9 o'clock positions. The MK5 Modular Rail mounts directly to the receiver of your KRISS Vector. Installation requires the removal of the Picatinny rail on the bottom of the Vector receiver. It is not capable of being installed without removing the receiver's bottom Picatinny rail. Please Note: The MK5 Modular Rail is designed specifically for the 6.5" barrel Vector Models. If installed on a Vector with a 5.5" barrel without any additional muzzle device such as a sound suppressor, the barrel will terminate within the handguard, which is not recommended.
