In development for more than four years, the VP9 is Heckler & Koch's latest handgun and the first striker fired HK since the renowned P7 series pistols were introduced in the 1980s. The VP9 is well-suited for civilian sport shooting, security, military, and law enforcement use. The new VP9L OR (Optics Ready) pistol has updated the venerable VP9 platform to support micro red dot sights for improved target acquisition. This "L" or Long Slide model has a 5" barrel and longer slide for a more generous sight radius.
This HK VP9L pistol features an extended slide assembly with lightening cuts. The five-inch barrel has an o-ring bushing for more consistent lockup and better accuracy The grips feature interchangeable backstraps and side panels allow for 27 different custom grip configurations. The pistol features an optics cut with cover plate - optics plates sold separately.
