Blanks in the Team Daiwa Surf Series are made with Daiwa's exclusive High Volume Fiber (HVF) construction from a low-resin, high-modulus carbon graphite material. This construction keeps the blanks light and sensitive while providing fantastic strength. Both casting distance and accuracy is enhanced thanks to X45 technology, where a 45 degree bias construction eliminates blank twist and keeps all components properly aligned during the cast. These rods have a custom look with Fuji black matte hooded reel seats that are exclusive to the series.
