I have not yet received this gun -- just ordered it. It's a Walther PPK (PPK/S) in .22 with a nickel finish for $300. What's not to love?!
Jonathan T on Aug 26, 2019
I haven’t shot a Walther PPK in over 30 years, but when I did it was the .380. The pistol was very accurate, I think my wife will love it. Oh yeah me too.

Nostalgia. I owned a pre-war Walther PPK in .32 Colt caliber when I was a youngster, circa 1940s. Looking forward to having one again.

Great Little Shooter With Some Minor Issues
This a great little .22 pistol and very fun to shoot. For the price, it's hard to complain but there are some issues to consider;
1) Occasional expulsion of hot, un-burned powder causing a mild burning feeling on your hands/face. Nothing drastic but something to be aware of.
2) My gun also has some unexpected wear/metal deformation but it doesn't seem to affect the function of the gun. This gun is picky with some ammo but it's pretty much 100% reliable with Remington Thunderbolt and CCI Mini-Mags but other brands are hit and miss - also doesn't seem to care for CCI Stingers. Take a look at the pictures - I shot nearly 800 rounds through it today and got it completely filthy and it never had an issue - just kept running...that's pretty impressive! Given the price and reliable performance, I would recommend it.
Dirty and it kept on working...

Great purchase!
Recently purchased the PPK/S 22 LR pistol. It proved to be everything I hoped it would be. Love the nickel finish and the size of the pistol. Really liked the extended magazine grip. I would purchase it again if there was a need.

12 pound double action normal? Really!
Beautiful pistol and fit and finish is excellent. Unable to make the double action work so I called Walther and asked for help. They said what I experienced was normal as the double action trigger pull is 12 pounds or so. They offered to send a shipping label but if 12 pound's as normal, that's too much for me So I sold it without ever firing it.

Nice!
Bought for nostalgia...my dad had a PPK in .32 ACP in his collection when I was a kid, and it was my favorite shooter...but I'm finding the .22LR to be really nice at the range. It's surprisingly accurate given the short short sight radius, and very pleasant to grip. Glad I got it! But...it does not like hollow points! I suspect the shape of the bullet's nose just does not feed well, so stick with round nose bullets.

PPK/S Single / Double Handgun Features

The PPK/S .22 is identical to its PPK/S 380 brother, but you can shoot 22LR rimfire ammo for pennies a shot and recoil is minimal. PPK/S is the 1968 "Sport" version with longer grip, based on the legendary 1931 design. The top strap is cut with a wave to reduce glare and rear slide serrations make for non-slip grip and classic Walther styling. The internal slide stop reduces external snags. It has fixed steel sights and classic Walther checkered grip panels. The double action trigger of the PPK/S 22 has a 17.5 lb. pull while the single action has a 6.6 lb. pull. The beaver tail and magazine finger extensions improve shooting comfort. The PPK/S .22 is great for the whole family, a quality firearm to someday pass it on to the next generation. This model has a nickel finish with black grip.
