Chose this for reliability based on production history and relationship to the Beretta M-9. Also have other Taurus firearms that have performed VERY well.

Value - $250 cheaper than same Beretta. I've shot several Taurus products over the years. One had a problem, but Taurus stood up and did the right thing. The mags and grips don't interchange with Beretta, but all the same looks, feel and specs. Except $250 still in my account. There may be a few more accessories avail on line for a Beretta 92 / M9, but there's enough for me that fit the Taurus. Grips etc. It ends up being all in $450 vs $700 - not a hard question to answer.

This gun is straight up awesome. If I could only own one gun, it would be a Taurus PT-92!

VERY NICE LOOKS GOOD

I owned this gun several years back and it was stolen. So when I saw it on your website I had to buy it as it was one of my favorite guns to own.

I've been trying to get this gun for several months, but it has been out of stock a lot. I bought a used Beretta 92s, but I really wanted to get a stainless version of the same type of gun without paying Beretta prices.

1) It is one of the most beautiful handguns I have ever seen.
2) The reviews were off the scale about it's accuracy and dependability.
3) I am a Taurus fan despite the haters. I have 2 that work flawlessly.

I've been looking for a stainless steel 9mm, in a good price range, I feel in love with the Taurus PT92 Stainless. The only problem was now finding someone who carried this firearm, I finally received a notification from GrabAGun with the best pricing on the market and placed my order.

Is this the asf-D with decocker?
James on Jan 15, 2019
BEST ANSWER: It has a framed mounted combination safety/decocker. Researched it and Taurus bought Beretta factory in Brazil, trained employees, and the PT is one of the most trouble free Taurus in line. Tested it with my Beretta 92, and it has great accuracy, modest recoil. Very easy to rack slide. Expect durable performance.

PT92 as solid as they come
Added this full size pistol and no regrets whatsoever. It's M( new and improved! Smooth action, nice trigger, and really easy yo shoot. Great looking in Stainless; Grips on the large size but fine for my average sized hand. A bit large for CC, but super capacity as an in-home firearm. I added light on the rail and it lives in my bedroom. Don't hesitate if you are thinking about purchasing this gun.

very nice gun
This is very well balanced handgun when you hold it and extremely smooth when you shoot. Although stock grip was not bad, I upgraded wood grip and it feels even better. It definitely is well manufactured gun.

Pt92ss
Its a nice loooking hand gun but the shot groupings are not as tight as some of my other guns. The gun fires nicely no misfed rounds but not as accurate as i would like.

Highly recommend!
Don’t let the gun snobs out there detract from this firearm’s obvious quality and dependability; it’s a fantastic weapon that is highly reliable. I have fired over a thousand rounds through my pt92, with zero malfunctions of any kind with a variety of ammo (though I never fired steel cased). No felt recoil of any kind whatsoever either. I can state with confidence that if I could own only one gun, it would be a pt92! If you have the right holster, you can even comfortably carry it all day too! Frame mounted safety/decocker is superior to the beretta 92 in my humble opinion as well.

Good bang for the buck
Works as intended with fmj/hp ammo. The website and magazines that come with the gun say 17rd, but I my self and others on YouTube (hickok45, regular guy training llc) that I've watched have only been able to load 16 in the mag. This isn't a issue for me since you get 2 mags that seem decent in quality. I went and bought mec-gar mags for it and they run smooth.
