Great carry gun.
This gun is with me 75% of the time these days. Its very well made feels good in the hand amd accurate. Plus I can toss it in my pocket with the safety on and just go. That safety is heavy. No quick release and when you do disengage it you can hear a loud audible click. The trigger is an aquired taste for sure. But I have learned how to shoot it and now it doesn't bother me. At first I was not sure I liked it but the more I have shot it the better it feels.

Easy to carry but terrible trigger.
I am currently using this as my EDC. It's accurate but you have to take your time with trigger pull or you wont even come close to hitting your target. This concerns me in a high stress situation where accuracy counts. I'm going to replace the trigger with a Galloway Precision trigger which is suppose to reduce the trigger pull by 35%. If that does not improve speed then I'm going to the 9mm, which ammo happens to be significantly cheaper then 380.

poitive
I couldn't remember how small this pistol was so I was a bit surprised but It fits my hand and I like it. Perfect size for a pocket pistol. I couldn't find any ammo so I am reloading my own even tho I wanted to break it in with factory stuff. I only had magnum primers so as soon as I get the std ones I ll load a few batches with different loads to see what works best. Shipping was 2nd day but my timing had it sitting at ups over the weekend. If you order anything on a Monday or Tues there is a good chance you will have it at your FFL by Friday. Price seems to be the best I could find and customer service is excellent.

The gun I should have bought 2 guns ago
This Bodyguard w/o laser, is the ideal gun for my ccw needs. Tiny, powerful for its size and it has the features I wanted for my circumstances. 100 rounds of WWB with only 1 fail to chamber. Minimal felt recoil. Reasonable accuracy which will improve with practice.

I used the shoot now pay later plan for this one ( being the third purchase on the way to the right gun, my toy cash was low). Smooth process, arrived quickly at my FFL

Only .380 to own
I have shot other .380s from Kel-Tec, Ruger, Kahr, etc. but bought the S&W because I feel it is best on the market right now. I have not shot it beyond 7 yards but it is extremely accurate up to this distance. The trigger pull is long and heavy as most double actions are, but is consistent and smooth. Only took about 20 rounds to get used to how the trigger breaks. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a carry gun in this caliber. You will not be disappointed.

Best .380 acp in class
I've owned, shot and carried my S&W Bodyguard (w/laser) for two years. It is lightweight, yet balanced to shoot. It has eaten every brand of .380 ammo I've fed it, unlike my Walther PPK/S, and has yet to jam, misfire or stovepipe. A perfect "summer gun" easily concealed in shorts pockets, especially if you place it in a wallet holster, such as DeSantis 110U7 that I use.

I understand why LAPD added the Bodyguard (without laser) to its approved list of off-duty carry weapons.

I own five different pistols in this class. My Bodyguard is the only one I trust enough to carry.
