SIG SAUER introduces the latest evolution with the new MCX-SPEAR LT, based on its predecessor the MCX Virtus, the new MCX-SPEAR LT has a lightened alloy M-LOK handguard with attachment screws for additional rigidity. It also has a lightened profile carbon steel barrel with improved accuracy. Other features of the Sig MCX-SPEAR LT include an ambidextrous bolt catch and release on its lower, a coyote anodized finish, a minimalist stock and an AR15 style trigger compatibility. The Spear LT also comes equipped with a full-length Picatinny rail to mount the sights, or optic, of your choice.
The new MCX-SPEAR LT brings the long awaited addition of the 5.56 NATO caliber to the MCX family. Equipped with a new latch system, the MCX-SPEAR LT was developed to handle the many varieties of 5.56 caliber ammunition while still maintaining reliability and smooth shooting.
