Why did you choose this?

I have been a Ruger fan since the mid 80s. I chose the EC9s to carry in an ankle holster and it is size appropriate to carry when I need something smaller to fit with my attire.

its going to be my wife's Conceal and carry gun and the price for a 9mm. I didn't want her to have a 380 to just make some one made and I own 5 Ruger's and love them all

I did all the research, for the money how can you go wrong? Ruger quality, customer service and history made my choice easier. We need to support the second amendment and our freedom to protect ourselves and the ones we love no matter where we are. Check out the EC9s on youtube at Hickock45. God Bless America!

Ruger has a reputation for reliability. Enough said Right ?
Patrick J on Nov 2, 2018
Ibought this for tow reasons,,
First I like the quality of my Ruger SRC9 and hope Iwilll like the EC9S as well.
I wanted 9 mm for extra firepower and if it were to jamb, larger calibres are eashier to clear than say a 380.
If I shoot someone in self defense the weapon will most likely be confiscated and at this price point, I consider it a throw away and can easily replace it.
Curtis J on Oct 29, 2018

Great little carry Gun
i originally bought a skyy pistol but found the trigger to be severely lacking.I'm a female with smaller hands. The ruger's trigger and grip were perfect.with a nicely narrow frame and only a 5 pound trigger pull it was just what i needed to bring my shots all within a nice 1 1/2 inch grouping. My daughter was so impressed she went and bought the same Gun for her carry Gun. I would recommend this pistol to anyone.

Ruger EC9s
i recently purchased this item through Grab-a-Gun, best price i found, got to the range last night and here are my thoughts:pros -the pistol is lite, small enough for pocket carry, economical, 7+1 carry mode, trigger has a good feel, good safety measure design. Cons-shoots low, after shooting about 50 rnds. it felt slick in my hands(may have had too much oil on gun)grip tape may fix this issue, magazine is hard to feed at times(made sure 1st rnd was pushed all the way back in mag fixed it).Now this is just my experience with mine (maybe new gun blues), it did feed and eject perfectly and had that 9mm snap, but over all i am pleased and would suggest it to a friend. READ the instructions on take down and reassembly, there is a small trick to it.

Love this gun
Love this gun; smaller than a Shield, bigger than a Bodyguard .380. My first Ruger. Built well, feels great in my hands. Grab-a-gun is my number one shopping place. Thanks for the sale!

Great gun, love the feel of it, shoots awesome, but the sights are hard to see in low light since they don't even have a white dot on them on the front or rear sight. Other than that I would have gave it 5 stars.
