pricing seems all over the place
i bought this gun in april when grabagun had all ruger american full or compact size 9mm/45cal versions around the $335 range
quality is great - it may be overbuilt
pro - trigger pull is light i would guess 4lb range
con - trigger reset is long
pro - novak sights (i did upgrade though recently to hiviz which are great)
con - gunsmith told me sights were a pain to remove/install
pro - ambi controls
pro - 2 mags - 1 being a 17round with sleeve for a full grip
con - aftermarket parts are limited
con - feels heavy
pro - trigger pull not needed for takedown
pro - ruger warranty
have shot well over 1500 rounds and maybe a few FTE which were ammo related 2 of which were aluminum casings and they stuck in the chamber so now i know dont run aluminum
initially i had the issue of my thumb knuckle rubbing but now have fix that with using the back strap that fits my hand and better hand placement
overall worth the money i paid for it - yes
would i buy it again at that price - no (i have seen deals as low as $250 and at that price i would buy another - why = merica)

Great Job RUGER!!! RAPC 9MM is AWESOME!
Was looking for an EDCC firearm that is reliable, sturdy, and accurate. After doing some extensive reading and a few testing sessions, I opted for the RAPC 9MM over a S&W M&P and a Springfield XD-S... Glocks were out because I prefer a manual safety and practice as such.

I am absolutely in love with this firearm... the large blackstrap fits the swell of my palm perfectly and doesn't force my grip into a predefined position, thus allowing a high and tight grip. All controls are easily accessible (though the mag release requires quite a bit of effort), and I really like the fact that breakdown doesn't require a trigger pull. Breakdown is a breeze with the slide release, unlike some models which rub your fingertips raw trying to engage the slide release.

It's a bit heavier than some of the other models at ~29oz unloaded, but it's a solid feel unlike some of the other polymer striker fire models. Trigger pull is consistent and smooth, and the positive reset makes for accurate follow-up rounds. The first 5 rounds down range tore out the x at 10yds, and the next 12 rounds were all grouped tight at ~2.5". This is a front heavy firearm, but I found that this seemed to help it return to target round after round with little to no re-acquisition. Recoil is extremely maneagable thanks to the low bore axis and physics of the barrel and slide action. I've put ~ 600rds of various ammo through it (Winchester 115 FMJ and JHP, Estate FMJ, Federal 124 FMJ, Hornaday 115 AG and 124 CD)... not one FTF or FTE.

The Novak LoMount sights are easy to pick up, though I will probably switch to TruGlo TPX Pros at some point.

If you're in the market for a reasonably priced EDC that won't break the bank, I HIGHLY recommend checking out the RAPC (there's also thePro Model for those who prefer no manual safety).

Oh yeah, best part about the RAPC is the look... it doesn't have that boxy Glock/Springfield look to it, it's an aggressive and unique looking firearm that is built for bidniss!

I really like it! American made, Ruger guarantee & Grab-A-Gun pricing
Picked this pistol up this morning and went right to the range. Shot about 40 rounds after just giving it a shot of Ballistol. Nice shooter, nice trigger, looks good, and fits good in the hand. I thought it might be too heavy, but actually doesn't seem any heavier than my other compacts. Free hand shooting at 50+ yards and I was hitting about a 6 inch group which is really good for me with a pistol.

Super sweet pistol. It's heavy, but that's a good thing since it can live on +P. Thank you, Grabagun, for having the best prices and for shipping so quickly. I'm certain the next firearm I purchase will come from Grabagun. You guys rock!

High Quality Pistol for the price
Buy It !! Nice gun. Price is cheap. Quality made product. Nice weight with 12 rd magazine. Just a little off balance and heavy with the 17 rd magazine. Real heavy trigger pull. It is about 7.4 lbs. Too much for me. I will have to have it adjusted down. Mine came in a plastic case with padlock, extra magazine floor, two extra grip sets, two magazines, 12 and 17 rds. Straight shooter our of the box.
