Built on a highly responsive and durable 24-ton carbon blank, the Cerros Rods are a comprehensive series that includes a wide variety of strengths and tapers to compliment the most popular bass fishing techniques used in US fisheries. Blanks on all models are built with Okuma's UFR-Ultimate Flex Reinforcement Tip technology, which blends unidirectional fiber over 24-ton carbon in the tip section of the rod to dramatically increase lifting strength and power by as much as 400%. This same technology enhances sensitivity for finesse techniques and detecting light bites. The Cerros Rods cut no corners in the way of components, featuring Sea Guide XO 316-SS guide frames with zirconium inserts for smooth casting and optimal line management with all types of lines. Contoured EVA split grips are fitted over the 3K woven carbon butt section that further increases hoop strength while keeping the rod lightweight and visually appealing.
