The receiver, lever, and trigger guard plate are CNC machined from 416 stainless steel forgings. The Marlin 45-70 Trapper also has laminate stock and forend that feature a checkered texture for better grip and handling in every condition. The gun also features a 5-round tube mag and an 11/16"-24 pattern threaded barrel with a factory-installed thread protector, built to accommodate a muzzle brake and other barrel accessories.
