Its Full Tang design and durable polypropylene handle, weather resistant, improves its durability and functionality. The blade is made of carbon steel 1055 with anticorrosive surface finish black. Steel 1055 is tool carbon steel. The carbon content and low alloy of this shallow hardened steel make it a very solid material that is not susceptible to brittleness.
