I want to improve the trigger feel on my existing AK pattern rifle. After reading many first hand accounts and reviews online I decided to try the RAK 1.

Solid trigger for the AK platform. Cost is about 1/2 of ALG AKT. I was able to upgrade two of my AK triggers for the price of one ALG.

good basic AK trigger
I got this for a SAR-1 with the original Century trigger from 2001 that has some serious trigger slap. I have several RAK-1's in my newer WASR and N-Pap rifles, and really like them. Have a G2 in another gun and It has the infamous tail peening. Figured I'd replace the SAR-1's nasty trigger with this and I wasn't disappointed . 100% drop in and racks smoothly without hanging up. Should be no carrier tail peening either from what I've seen. So far so good, we'll of course see how they are years down the road, but so far seems promising

RAK1 vs Other (ALG)
In my opinion, the RAK1 trigger is a much better value than the ALG for the AK47. While the ALG may have a lighter break or smoother pull, this usually comes after much filing and tuning. The hammer profile has also been known to cause flattening of the carrier tail. While the RAK has been factory profiled without the hump which causes this damage. They are also very good feeling FCG''s and truly "Drop In"...
