Blue Force Gear 10 Speed Double Magazine Pouch Features
Blue Force Gear Ten-Speed double M4 magazine pouch is made of military grade elastic and designed to hold two M4 magazines. Ten-Speed pouches are designed to be stacked (doubled) so that they can hold two magazines side by side (horizontally) or side by side (vertically). Ten-Speed pouches are a Blue Force Gear original; they are designed to hold on to their contents securely, yet lay flat when not in use. The X-Pouch has the same basic design as Ten-Speed pouches, but instead of snapping shut, the X-Pouch has a barbed (glued) front edge. This allows the user to remove the magazine separator, stack the pouches, and lay them side by side, like magic. This creates a very nice effect when multiple pouches are used. The X-Pouch can also be used for other items that don't require a retention strap such as energy gels, flash bangs, med kit items, or anything else that doesn't require a snap. The X-Pouch can also be used for smaller cylindrical items such as gauges, sending units, flash bangs, IFAKs, and so on. This feature allows the user to stack magazines or similar sized items without the hassle of a retention strap. Ten-Speed pouches are designed to be used in pairs so that the X lays flat when the pouch is empty and then returned to the same position. This allows the user to lay the pouch on their back without having to lay it on the pocket or mat. The material is so light that the user does not even notice the retention strap. The X-Pouch will lay flat in use like a normal Ten-Speed pouch - laying flat when the item is in place.
