Beretta Guns Pistol
Beretta Px4 Storm
The Beretta Px4 Storm Sub-Compact pistol is built around Beretta’s latest Px4 modular technology. It is a perfect example of Beretta’s ability to combine advanced technology and aesthetics in one good looking package. The Px4 Storm Sub-Compact provides a fun gun to shoot, with large frame firepower. If you are looking for an easy-to-conceal carry gun that packs a punch, the PX4 is just the ticket.
The Px4 Storm Sub-Compact is available in two calibers (9mm and .40 S& W), and features a reliable locked-breech locking system with a rotating barrel, which has been updated and considerably improved by Beretta. The overall dimensions are significantly reduced, providing a compact and light weight system.
Modular structure, ergonomics and interchangeability of parts place the Px4 Storm among the foremost choice of pistols for personal defense and law-enforcement use.
The use of reinforced fiberglass technopolymer allows for a light weight, attractive, ergonomic and advanced firearm.
Technopolymer is completely resistant to corrosion and guarantees long lasting color consistency. The rounded surfaces of the pistol prevent snags and allow easy insertion and extraction of the pistol from the holster. The trigger guard is rounded to ensure the correct position of the supporting hand when firing with two hands. In front of the trigger guard, beneath the barrel, a Picatinny rail (MIL Std 1913) is located. Integral to the frame, it allows the mounting of laser devices, flash lighters or other accessories.
The grip angle allows for instinctive aiming of the firearm, and automatically provides the line of sight. The rear upper section of the grip is curved with a slight recess to comfortably accommodate and protect the shooter's hand. Both the front and the rear section of the grip provide a comfortable scaled surface that, not only looks great, but considerably improves grip. Thanks to a new patented system, the pistol may be adapted for different hand sizes that allow the back-straps to be interchanged.
The manual safety lever is positioned on both sides of the slide for easy access by right or left-handed shooters.
The model G has a hammer de-cocking lever that can be replaced with another in a low profile configuration (Stealth) to further reduce the overall dimensions of the slide.
REVERSIBLE AND INTERCHANGEABLE MAGAZINE RELEASE BUTTON
The magazine release button can be mounted on the right side of the firearm, for use by left-handed shooters. The standard button can be easily replaced in Large or Combat size, suitable for professional use.
INTERCHANGEABLE SLIDE CATCH
The slide catch (slide stop) may be replaced by another in a low profile configuration (slim type).
REMOVABLE AND INTERCHANGEABLE TRIGGER MECHANISM.
The trigger mechanism of the Px4 Storm pistol has been designed as a unit that may be extracted without the need for special tools.
The removal of the trigger group allows an easy access to the firing mechanism for cleaning and maintenance purposes.
The model Px4 Storm pistol uses a rotating barrel locking system that is strong and durable. The system features sturdy locking lugs, located at 180 degrees to ensure the optimum distribution of locking forces when firing. Designed with reduced friction areas between the barrel and the slide, as well as the central block, provides for smooth facilitation of operation and reliability. The barrel features an enlarged external muzzle diameter ensuring a precise and consistent barrel-to-slide coupling, greatly enhancing the Px4's accuracy. In addition, the external barrel diameter is reduced for its remaining length, providing an improved rear and forward travel of the slide during the operating cycle.
LOW BARREL AXIS POSITION
Thanks to the direct barrel-slide locking system as well as the slide design, a low barrel axis is achieved resulting in minimized muzzle jump when shooting and improves the speed of aim in fast follow-up shots.
The high definition 3-dot sight system utilizes white indicators treated with Superluminova®, a photosensitive material that makes them highly visible even in darkness. A few minutes of exposure to light ensure long lasting luminescence to the dots. The front and rear sights can be removed for replacement with other sights.
The weight of the hammer has been significantly reduced and features a distinctive look and high percussion speed (available on models F and G only.
There is three Operating Systems available. Each version of the Beretta Px4 Storm pistol offers different features, designed to satisfy specific client needs.
Px4 Storm F: Double/single action. The Px4 Storm F features an ambidextrous manual safety on the slide with hammer de-cocking function, and automatic firing pin block safety.
Px4 Storm G: Double/single action. The Px4Storm G features an ambidextrous manual lever on the slide with hammer de-cocking function and return of the lever to the firing position, automatic firing pin block safety.
AUTOMATIC FIRING PIN BLOCK SAFETY
The Beretta Px4 Storm pistols have a blocking device that prevents forward movement of the firing pin, unless the trigger is fully depressed This prevents accidental discharge if the firearm is dropped on a hard surface.
HIGH CAPACITY MAGAZINE
The Beretta Px4 Storm pistols have a quick release, high capacity staggered magazine, which allows rapid reloading and extended use of the firearm. The cartridges available are 9mmx19 with 17 rounds and the .40 S&W with 14 rounds.
SIMPLE FIELD STRIPPING
The disassembly device is designed to allow the pistol to be field stripped very quickly and easily. Disassembly is simple, but re-assembly is even easier and the slide locks automatically when it passes beyond the rear section of the frame.
The Beretta Px4 undoubtedly lives up to the reputation we have come to expect from Beretta guns. It is easily concealed, fun to shoot, sports the power of a big frame gun, is a technically advanced firearm allowing for many adaptations performed easily and possesses the reliability and accuracy that Beretta is well known for.
