The Apex Ultimate Striker Block Kit is designed to work in conjunction with the Apex Fully Machined Sear. The geometry and dimensions of the striker safety plunger differs from the factory part to yield an exceptionally smooth take-up before the trigger bar engages the sear cam. The Apex design also minimizes drag on the trigger bar as it transitions to the reset point. The secondary benefit is a more detectable trigger reset. The kit also includes a reduced power plunger spring that maintains the necessary safety values while reducing drag and lift resistance. Works with all current production Smith and Wesson M&P series pistols in 9mm, .357SIG, .40S&W and .45ACP, as well as the M&P M2.0 and the M&P Shield in 9mm/40S&W. Does NOT fit in the M&P Shield 45 model.
