This lower receiver is compatible with standard AR 308 components and magazines, making it a versatile choice for builders. Key features include an upper tension screw to eliminate play between the upper and lower receivers, and a threaded rear takedown pin detent hole for a 4-40 set screw, simplifying assembly and maintenance. The bolt catch is also threaded for a screw pin, eliminating the need for a roll pin and making installation easier.
An integrated trigger guard enhances durability and offers a sleek profile, while the selector markings accommodate 45, 60, or 90-degree safety selectors. This allows for customization with standard or short throw safety selectors, including those from Battle Arms Development. The design ensures there is no gap with aftermarket pistol grips, providing a seamless and comfortable fit.
