- Awesome gun
I already had a S&W M&P 9c and love it but I wanted to upgrade to the 40 cal so since I was happy with the 9 I got the 40. Best deal I have made since buying firearms. I love my 40c and it is now my everyday carry. It is accurate and feels good in my hand.
GrabAGun ordered it one day and had it the next! Excellent company! Very knowledgeable. As for the M&P .40 compact it is perfect! Fits my hand perfectly. Very accurate and easy to shoot. Well balanced with below expected recoil. Perfect for carry!
I own both this S&W M&P40C and the RugerSR40c. I mention this only because that impacted the number of stars I'm giving here to the M&P. Both are really good shooters with good triggers and without a lot of recoil. I think the Ruger is a bit better quality, it's less expensive, and it comes with both the flush mag plus a 15-round extended magazine with a full grip sleeve. The full-size M&P magazine will fit the M&P40C, but no one makes a grip sleeve for it. That said, the M&P is slightly more comfortable to hold and comes with better sights. Shoot both if you can before you decide.
