RUGER CHARGER 22 OVERVIEW
The original Ruger 10/22 rifle was released in 1964, and since then, it’s become one of the most popular Ruger firearms to date. The Charger 22 pistol version, with a 15-round magazine, a bipod that can be extended to nine inches, and Picatinny rails for mounting of accessories, is the perfect plinking rifle. Its pistol grip is interchangeable, but the standard one is great for most hands. The memory grooves help your hand stay in the perfect position for accuracy, shot after shot, while the grip flares give your hand a comfortable resting place.
CHARGER 22 REVIEW – HANDGUNSMAG.COM
Trigger pull is about four pounds and the slack is minimal. This is a great plinking pistol, but it’s also perfect for small game and varmints at a close distance. The Ruger Charger 22 makes a great companion for fun and functionality.
“The rig brings a whole new element to small game hunting, and I commend Ruger for its unique design features and for bringing the Charger out just in time for the early varmint season.” (1)

RUGER CHARGER 22 TAKEDOWN FOR SALE
A nice thing about the Charger Takedown model is that it ships in a hard-sided case, making it look very James Bond-esque and official. As with the non-takedown model, reliability and accuracy are both on point. It comes with a bipod, Picatinny rail, and 15-round magazine capacity.
RUGER CHARGER TAKEDOWN REVIEW
The Ruger Charger Takedown is as lightweight as the non-takedown version, and the trigger pull and grip comfort are excellent. Out of the box, you won’t need much instruction to set it up and start shooting. It feels familiar right away, is a great compact companion, and won’t let you down when it comes to target shooting or plinking. The AR-15 style pistol grips allow for easy interchangeability, and the threaded barrel makes it convenient for those who like to shoot with suppressors.
“All in all, it’s a very handy, 10-inch barreled, 3.2 pound, .22 semi-automatic pistol that takes all the 10/22 accessories as far as the receiver and the magazines go, that you’ve come to be familiar with on the 10/22 rifle platform.”(2)
RUGER CHARGER SILENCER FOR SALE
Within the last few years, Ruger released its first suppressor, featuring the best materials in an advanced design, giving you a lightweight, compact silencer with supreme silencing capability. The Ruger Silent-SR is a .22 LR sound suppressor that adds the sound reduction you need without the added weight and inconvenience you don’t.
RUGER CHARGER SILENCER REVIEW
The Ruger Silent-SR is only 5 ⅜ inches long and weighs in at six ounces. It’s the perfect companion for your Ruger Charger 22 because it doesn’t add a lot of length or weight to a pistol you already hope to keep as compact as possible. Among effective sound reduction is the ability to easily remove and clean the silencer. Ruger used a titanium tube, stainless steel baffles and muzzle mount, and an aluminum rear cap. These maximize strength and durability, so the silencer is functional and attractive.
“The Silent-SR is engineered and manufactured with rugged materials, providing rimfire shooters with a silencer that offers outstanding sound suppression, simple maintenance and legendary Ruger reliability.”(3)
