The CASCADE is the first ever CVA bolt-action centerfire rifle. Long the leader in both muzzle-loading rifles and single-shot centerfires CVA has applied its nearly 50 years of experience into making what we feel to be the best bolt-action on the market at $600 or below. The CASCADEs 4140 carbon steel barrel is finished in a rich matte blue or available in Cerakote Flat Dark Earth.
The series features a threaded muzzle making it ready for a brake or suppressor whenever you are. The bolt design incorporates a 70 throw for smooth and fast operation plus generous scope clearance. The two-position safety is conveniently located for natural and instantaneous operation. And loading is a breeze with its four round flush fit detachable magazine (extra magazines available from CVA).
A synthetic stock is fiber-glass reinforced and has a SoftTouch finish available in either charcoal gray or Veil Wideland camo for easy gripping even in the harshest weather conditions. The buttstock has adjustable length of pull by way of a removable spacer making the CVA CASCADE XT an ideal gun for still-growing youths small-statured adults or even the full-sized hunter who wants to shorten his stock to accommodate heavy winter clothing. And dual front swivel studs allow for the use of both a sling and a bi-pod at the same time.
Scoping up the CASCADE XT is a breeze as it is compatible with two piece mounts built for the Savage 110 AccuTrigger models which are available almost anywhere.

The CASCADE XT (X-Treme) is our new “precision-oriented” member of the CASCADE family. Several key features make it the perfect multiple purpose rifle for many hunters. First, the heavier #5 taper fluted barrel adds stability and improves balance, while also allowing the firing of multiple shots without accuracy loss due to excessive barrel heating. Next, our radial muzzle brake greatly reduces recoil, making the XT very comfortable to shoot both on the range and in the field, even in heavier calibers. And lastly, the XT’s tactical-style bolt knob provides better leverage for faster manipulation of the bolt, especially from the prone position.
