History of Charles Daly

Founded in 1865, two partners, Charles Daly and August Schoverling, started a sporting goods business called Schoverling and Daly located in New York City. By 1875, the company now operating under the brand name Charles Daly, quickly established a reputation for dealing superior quality firearms from around the world. Manufacturers in Prussia were the first to supply Charles Daly with exceptionally constructed shotguns. Following KBI’s unexpected collapse, their return to the US market in 2012 came with the announcement of distribution by Trans World Arms LLC of Harrisburg, Pennsylvania.
