A must buy for a 1911
I have had I've 50 1911 45's. Either the 70 or the 80 series I have paid anywhere From 400 to 3000 for a 1911, even if you paid 3 times the list price you will not find a better deal. I have over 2000 rounds though this gun and only have had about 5 bad rounds. This is a series 70 1911, so it has 4 less parts in the hammer/ trigger system . That's why it has a clean 3.5lbs trigger that is clean and smooth, The only negative on this gun are the sights. Very small white dots, but are snag free for CCW, even with the 5" barrel it carries very close to my body, I'm only 5'7" and 165lbs, so not a big guy, lol. The fit and finish is very well done, it has the bump palm safety that makes your hand ride up high so you have the safety system work the first time and every time you draw the weapon

outstanding gun
My first 1911 although I have owned many guns over the years and wanted one of these-I didn't want to spend Kimber money. After the reviews, I got this one, and am amazed at the quality. I own Colt, Smith, and Ruger firearms, and the quality and workmanship of this one is at least as good. I put Hogue grips on it, and it can't be beat....

Great Gun, and Excellent Value.
Nicely made, fit and finish are excellent, and this gun shoots. Very good trigger pull, and it eats any type of ammo. Excellent 1911. As good or better than guns costing twice as much. Downside - comes with just one mag, and the grips are cheesy. I bought 2 Wilson combat mags and they work great. No hiccups. I also replaced the grips with some really nice ones from Raasco. That made a big difference, and the gun is all quality. Just want to add that the gun has a polished feed ramp and the bluing is really nicely done. Slide to frame fit is great. The best thing is that it feels like you had it for awhile. I was not disappointed.

great gun at a great price
Opened the box, took it to my friends farm to shoot and had a blast.. Great machine work and finish..this thing is tight!. Looks and feels like a 900.00 1911...Everyone that has looked at it was impressed....Very happy customer.

Tight Fitted 1911
Nice gun for the money, not wild about the grips, but the machining and blueing are nice. It shoots well, I have had a couple short stroked ejections, but I think it will clear up with different ammo or after break in. Shoots well tight groups at 10 yards.

Outstanding Handgun
For the money, I don't think you could find a better 1911 as far as quality components, fit and finish, and accuracy then this gun. I am truly amazed and it shoots just as well as a Custom Shop S&W I just bought too.

Well made, quality manufacturing, fast shipment and good price. Have not fired yet due to weather, that's why 4 stars. Thanks GAG.

Great 1911 regardless of price
This gun is built really well. Don't let the price fool you. The only issue I had on it was a feed issue on the last round using Federal ammo ( two other brands fed fine). When I switched to a cheap aftermarket magazine, all 8 rounds of Federal fed fine. Overall, I couldn't be happier with my purchase. My friend has a Kimber and to me, this is just as nice and tight without the huge price tag. Btw, there is absolutely no wobble in the slide like you find with even the high cost 1911's.

First 1911
As the subject says, this is my first 1911 model and i am truly impressed! I took it to the range with a good friend of mine, who has many 1911's. He field stripped it after asking if i had cleaned it yet,i told him no,he said you always clean a new pistol before firing it. He told me,they usually come packed with to much storage grease in them. After he stripped and cleaned it,he fired a full clip of ball without any FTF or FTE.Ended up firing over 300 rnds through her, with absolutely no trouble. I was afraid of the recoil i was exsp4ecting,but it almost a non issue! :) I love this gun!!!!!!! Price and Fit are perfect for a beginner. Will get 3 more clips, and some more rounds soon. My buddy was very impressed when i showed him the cost and he said it's a very well built 1911,worth allot more then i paid for it! I'll post another update after the 1000 round mark. Art B
