"PT 92 9mm SS 17+1 Fixed Description The fixed sight PT92 9mm pistol is based on the most extensively tested, duty proven, and widely used double action autoloading design in history. Other features include choice of blued or stainless finishes, loaded chamber indicator for added safety, and the Taurus security system. Specifications: - Type: Pistol - Action: Single / Double - Caliber: 9 MM - Barrel Length: 5"" - Capacity: 17 + 1 (Includes 2 magazines) - Safety: Ambidextrous - Grips: Checkered Rubber - Sights: Fixed - Weigh: 34 oz - Finish: Stainless"

5 Star worthy
I got this handgun a while ago. The gun shot absolutely perfect. The dual action was really a nice touch and I put a 3 lb trigger in mine. I shot almost every type of ammo and had no failures with feeding, ejecting, etc. Taking it apart was something I didn't expect to be so easy to do. It comes apart just as easy as my Glock 19. Hands down this 9mm was worth every penny I paid for it. At 15 yards, I was maintaining a 2-3 inch group. Wished there were more around, I would buy another one.

Nice gun for the money but may be finicky about ammo.
The price can't be beat. It was $165 less than my Beretta 92. Had a big problem with failure to eject. Was using Magtech in the compact box. Could not get 3 shots in a row. Tried Magtech in the full size box and no problem. Will try a couple of different brands of ammo. Shots straight out of the box. Will need to see how it handles different ammo.

very happy with this pistol!!! was worried with the bad taurus rap. got it to the range and it shot flawlessly. have a national 30 round mag and a 32 round pro mag and it had no issues what so ever! really wanted something that can do 30 rounds and I'm super glad I got this over a glock. night and day when it comes to looks this being the sexy one. Only wish it had a case instead of the box.

Excellent experience
First, I am a definite amateur in regard to guns and online purchasing. I'm only into it six months except some shooting I did through my early teenage years.

As for the pistol.. no complaints so far. I just put my first 200 rounds through it today. So far I'm used to nights sights on my guns, this being only my fifth. I found the front sight a bit difficult to pickup in the indoor range, but lighting left a lot to be desired anyhow. The factory mags had no failures but I definitely prefer the Mec mags I picked up at the same time. They just feel of better quality and seemed to load a bit easier. Overall, very happy. Groups seemed to be on par with my others, which probably only means the guns are outshining my skills at this time (no problem keeping 3in groups at 7 yards).

As for Grabagun, I can't say enough good things. I ordered the gun on Tuesday, shipped Thursday, and was ready for me to pickup Saturday morning. I had several local prices, albeit none in stock, that were still more than I paid for the pistol, mags, and shipping. Very pleased overall and will be back once the gf screws up.

TOO MUCH FUN!!!!!!!!
I am impressed with the fit of this pistol. Sight picture is quick , the red dot on front is a nice touch.as far as the 2 tone look goes.Matte finish on the top will be your friend on a sunny day.As far as the 5/8" wide bands of stainless on the sides on the slide go,If you want it bright buff it up, After all its stainless you can make it look like chrome if you have a mind to! Runs great with ball ammo, haven't tried any HP ammo yet. For the price it seems like a lot of fun.

Great gun except for...
I love this gun a lot more than I thought, especially after I shot it and chewed out bullseyes. Surprisingly accurate!! Smooth shooting. A real pleasure to shoot. Only complaint is what another reviewer mentioned. The stainless steel on the frame is shiny while top slide is matt. It does detract from its looks. Why would they do that? otherwise it would be 5 stars all around. At this price it is a great value for a very accurate shooter.

Good gun for the money.
I own a Beretta 92-A1 and this gun is just as fun to shoot and just as accurate. Taurus surprised me. I recommend this gun black or stainless to anyone.

Looks funny once I got it home
The top of this gun is matt finish. The bottom is chrome. Doesn't match. If this would bother you like it did me and the three people I showed it to, move on. If not, buy it. I never shot it, sold it.

Great for the Money
As always money talks and in this case for a lot less. This Taurus 9mm Stainless is a fine weapon and was $250 less than my Beretta 9MM. So much so when I go to the range I fire both weapons but enjoy the Taurus more. Plus it looks bad ass :)
