Good no-frills .38
Excellent gun for what it is, it's a basic "rent a cop" special, fixed sight service .38. The action is heavy and it's not especially tack driving accurate but probably due to the 10 lb + double action pull. Mine was tight, goes bang every time, for $350 you can't go wrong. Don't expect a Ruger or S&W, but it is a solid gun. I own S&W and Ruger revolvers, and the Taurus 82 is still a good range gun and trainer. For half the price of the "name brands" you get a lot of gun for the money.
