Great value! Excellent Craftsmanship (Consider trigger job)
First off, the price here was better than one of the other popular websites and the item was delivered in a timely fashion. Very happy with this site and will purchase additional items soon.
The good: The revolver itself is very well made and sturdy. I purchased this after Ruger changed the hammer design a bit and solved some of the barrel alignment issues that were reported in earlier online posts. I have since put several hundred rounds through it and am very impressed. I originally wanted a 10 round and looked at the S&W 618 but it was WAY too bulky for me and it was about $250 more expensive than the Ruger. You would be hard-pressed to get a better quality DA revolver for the price.
The not-so-good: Trigger pull was much heavier than I felt it needed to be. Ruger factory claims they did that on purpose to insure no mis-fires, but at 16+lbs (8lbs-ish single action) I felt it was uneccesary and a bit overkill. I have since had a trigger job done by a reputable local gunsmith and now it's just about perfect. (Cost $75) In addition, the grip is a little bit small for my hands, but if that's an issue you can purchase a new grip from Hogue. I didn't because I liked the current aesthetic with the factory 2-tone and since there really isn't any recoil, it's not necessary from a control standpoint.
Lastly, Ruger has since come out with a GP100 (10 round 22lr) DA revolver. If you feel this model is too small, take a look at that one.

Good product
Double action trigger pull leaves something to be desired, but a great buy.
