Slick, but tricky

I bought this about a year ago and refrained from posting any reviews until I had really put it through it's paces. Now I have had a decent amount of time with it I can give a good overview of what to expect.Value Quality
If you are looking for a tactical shotty to pick up and run with immediately, leave this one alone. This is a tough starter if you've owned other shotguns since just about everything is in a different place or operates in a different manner. The safety position, slide action, pretty much everything is irritating as hell for months.
That being said, if this is your first tac, you will love it. Decent weight, excellent construction, and shoulder loaded center of balance make it easy and comfortable to fire even for my wife who weighs 120. The 14+1 dual tube design becomes pretty second nature after decent practice, and it is comforting to know that you likely have too much ammo rather than not enough.
Overall, it only lost a star for frustrations getting used to it, but operation, aesthetics, function, and fun all deserve 4.5-5 in the end. (Posted on 6/12/12) -

This weapon IS California legal. Penal Code requires an overall length of 26 inches and the KSG is 26.1 inches. There is also an 18" barrel length minimum and the KSG meets that. There is NO maximum ammunition limit for shotguns other than some game-specific issues... (Posted on 1/28/12)Value Quality
