I'm in Love With This Rifle
I had heard so many great things about Henry and their rifles, I finally broke down and bought one in 22 WMR, which is a favorite caliber of mine. When I opened the box, I was stunned at how beautiful the rifle was. There wasn't a fingerprint anywhere on it. The action is buttery smooth and it shoots like a dream. I couldn't have asked for a better lever gun. I was so pleased with the rifle, I just ordered another Henry chambered in 22 LR. My only complaint was how my gun was packaged. The Henry box was slid down inside a regular box with no padding or cushion. By the time it got to my FFL, the Henry box had taken a good beating. Even the shop owner said it was one of the poorest packing jobs he's seen in a while, and he takes a lot of transfers.
